i will say my absence from this thing has been way too long. for a while thouhg, not too many other people were posting anything either. never the less, life continues to amaze me. For those of you that dont know, the midwest was hit with a huge ice storm earlier this year. Our house had no power for almost three weeks. we had ice on the inside of your windows and had icicles growing form our ceilings. despite all these harships we managed to push through all that and are now doing much better...we have heat...which is nice. i credit my third world upbringing for gettin me through it. anyway life seems to be gettin back to normal...going to school, working, and complaining every step of the way. any of you should come a visit us....we have a big house and we promis to entertain!

from the one who has been out for a while....

PEACE!!

"It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag."
-Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, Sergeant, USMC
